About Event

FStival is a free software festival conducted annually since 2004, by GLUGOT(GNU linux user group of TCE) and GLUG Madurai in commemoration of Softare freedom day.

Events

1)Free and Open source software stalls exclusively by school students,
2)FOSS project contest - mini projects demonstration by TCE students developed by them,
3)Tech Talks by eminent speakers,
4)Surprise events for students,
5)Demo stalls showcasing free software tools and software deployed on network servers and database systems etc by TCE students.
6)Stalls where visitors can try installation of GNU/Linux operating systems and tools.
7)Stalls where GNU/Linux OS distributions are written on CD/DVDs(Please bring enough number of CD/DVDs)
